Thank you for your interest in applying to join one of our short term teams to Cambodia & Japan. Please note places on team are by application, so its important to read each of the questions below carefully, and answer them as accurately as you can, noting that your application will not be viewed as complete until all relevant accompanying documents have been received.

As part of this application process you will be asked to provide 2 x referees, one of them being your location pastor, and the second being another leader from your location who knows you well, for example your friendship group or department leader. It does take some time to work through the many applications we receive, but once we have done so we will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note given places are limited, priority will be given to Enjoyers who are doing the ABC's.

Health challenges of a missions trip:

Our trips do at times involve varying amounts of walking and in-country travel, in a variety of different settings and weather conditions. Dietary wise, we will do our best to accomodate any special dietary needs but there may also be times when they can be difficult to accommodate. It is also important to be aware that leaving what is familiar to you and travelling to places that are unfamiliar to you, can at times be stressful physically, mentally and emotionally and this should be taken into careful consideration in applying.

This is the compliance section of the application. The Bible says those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish. At Enjoy Church we believe that one part of being planted is the 'C' in our ABC's. The 'C' stands for contribute which speaks to each team members unique gifts and talents. While we want everyone to be able to join a short term team, there are processes that we need you to follow to become compliant for our teams.

All mission team members need to have a Key to Contribute: KC-1P. Instructions on how to apply for a KC-1P can be found at the Enjoy Church Policy Connect Site. If you don't yet have access to the Enjoy Church Policy Connect site, you can apply for access here.

Financial and Team Commitment

All field visits are self-funded and will require periodic payments due by specified dates. The overall trip cost includes flights, travel insurance, relevant visas, accommodation, meals, transport and all in-country costs excluding personal spending over and above what is provided. Payment 1: Covers flights & travel insurance. You can expect this to be approximately $1500 AUD and due shortly after application approval.
Payment 2: Covers accomodation & visas.
Payment 3: Covers food, internal travel and remaining in-country expenses.
